He Touched My Taco.....

Recently, I dined at the Don Pablo's in Flint, MI and posted a review here. Below is an excerpt from the review.

"And then, in almost slow-motion like speed, he reaches with a big, furry man-hand across my plate. He PICKS UP the clearly bitten into taco. He TURNS IT ON END in front of me. He OPENS IT to check that yes, it is a beef taco. And then he TOSSES IT BACK ON MY PLATE

Like I said, this happened in my mind in a slow motion fashion. I backed away from the table as the hand came across. I was horrified! It was vulgar. "

I have received a lot of input about the review, and while it was 100% true, I agree with a sincere, rational email I received that it was a bit too personal in nature. For that, I apologize. Having been a waitress, a cafeteria server, and an ice cream parlor employee, I get that working in te food industry is tough work. Perhaps the server had other issues on his mind that night. I don't know. I just know our service was lousy, I wrote about it in what I thought was a truthful but lighthearted way, and that I was a bit too revealing with names and details.

After posting the original story, I spoke with the GM, who is new, about the situation. He seemed to truly want to improve his establishment. I wish him luck in his endeavor.
